Sisters’ Corner is a Muslim youth organisation, based in Alfurqan Islamic Centre. Sisters’ Corner was set up and organised by a group of sisters who were inspired to make a change in the community. They wanted to offer opportunities to the wider mass and provide a welcoming space for sisters from any background, culture or faith.
We pride ourselves in taking an active role in our community, and we’ve been able to do this by connecting people with the masjid, helping raise money for charity and organising a range of events. We wanted to establish an environment that nurtures personal, religious and educational growth. Being educated on how to survive in this dunya (this life) as well as how to prepare for our akhira (hereafter) is the one of our goals. All that we’ve been able to achieve thus far is by the permission of Allah.
