Policy for the Use of Daily Pass Permits

Purpose:

Daily pass permits are intended to provide temporary parking access to individuals who are not eligible for the regular permit holder parking scheme but require parking facilities for accessing Mosque services or events at the community centre.

Eligibility:

Daily pass permits are available exclusively to members of the congregation who do not qualify for the standard permit holder parking scheme in the area.

Application Process:

Applicants must complete the designated form provided by the community centre.
The form should include personal details and the purpose of the visit.
Submission of the form does not guarantee approval, and permits are subject to availability.

Usage:

Daily pass permits are valid only for the specified date and must be visibly displayed on the vehicle dashboard.

Permits are non-transferable and should be used only by the individual for whom it was issued.
Parking is permitted only in designated areas around the Mosque.

Duration:

Daily pass permits are valid for a single day and remain valid for a duration of one month.
Renewal of daily pass permits is subject to availability and must follow the same application process.

Compliance:

Permit holders must adhere to all parking regulations and guidelines set forth by Manchester City Council. Failure to comply with parking rules may result in the revocation of the daily pass permit and potential restrictions on future permits. The permit is subject to the condition that you own the car or have legal permission to use it.

Cancellation:

Alfurqan Islamic Centre reserves the right to cancel or revoke daily pass permits at any time without prior notice.

Permits may be cancelled due to misuse, violation of parking regulations, or other circumstances deemed necessary by the centre management.
Review:

This policy is subject to periodic review and may be updated or revised as needed to ensure efficient management of parking resources and adherence to community centre guidelines.
